The popular one-day face-to-face course is designed to give employers, factory managers and safety professionals an insight into the harmful effects of noise, acoustic terminology and principles, statutory duties and Legislation, risk assessment/noise survey techniques, and how interventions can be developed using noise monitoring tools and noise control methods. Experienced as well as new safety practitioners will benefit from attending the course, which can be used as a new learning experience or a refresher, or a taster to the IOA Certificate of Competence Workplace Noise Risk Assessment (5 day course). Our training team consists of very experienced trainers, members of the IOA (Institute of Acoustics).
